Daily Eyeliner Routine

Hi ladies,

Many of you have asked me about “what eyeliner I use” or “which I eyeliner do I recommend.” About a year ago I started using gel eyeliner and I absolutely love it. The eyeliner I use and recommend is the “L’Oreal infallible lacquer liner.” I’m in love with this product. It lasts all day long! I used to use a pencil eye liner but it would always smudge or wear off at the end of the day. This eyeliner does not do either of these things. It also comes with a brush for a better application. The brush allows me to draw a perfect line with it. However, that is my opinion, and of course you can use it with any other eyeliner brush you have.

Eyeliner is one of my favorite cosmetics to use when applying makeup. If I don’t apply eyeliner to my eyes, I feel they look bare. I can live without eye shadow, but not without eyeliner and mascara.

Some of you have also asked for a daily eyeliner routine. As I mention above, I do wear eyeliner and mascara on a daily basis, unless I’m lounging around the house all day where I don’t wear any make up.

I took some pictures to show you what I do for a daily eyeliner routine, and what products I use. It is very simple and again you do not need eye shadow to make your eyes stand out.

I hope you find this entry interesting and useful!! Thank you so much for reading!

So here is a picture of my favorite gel eyeliner! As I mentioned before, it comes with a brush which gives you a great and effective application.

What is also great about this product is that it lasts forever, since you do not need to apply a lot on the brush. All you need to do is tap it and just get a decent amount on your brush. If you want to get a thicker line just repeat the process and just keep applying until you have achieved the look you want.

This is optional, but I also like to apply eyeliner on the bottom eyelid.

After I’m done applying my gel eyeliner, I go ahead and start applying pencil eyeliner on my waterline. I like applying eyeliner on my waterline, since I’m not wearing any eye shadow I still want it to look like I have lots of eye makeup. I do my bottom waterline, and also my top waterline. I do my top so when I apply mascara it looks like I have more and thicker eyelashes.
The pencil eyeliner I use is from Avon. I have very sensitive eyes, and I have found this is the only pencil eyeliner that does not irritate them.

To complete my eyeliner look, I apply my favorite mascara which is the “L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black.” If they ever discontinue this mascara I will have a heart attack!  It makes my eyelashes look so long and nice! It is definitely one of the best drug store mascaras out there!

So there you have it! That’s my eyeliner daily routine! Of course you can skip some steps if you think it is too much.  Perhaps you don’t use the pencil eyeliner on you waterline or don’t do eyeliner on the bottom eyelid.  Your make up is of course your preference and what you think looks best on  you.

Again, I hope this helps! Let me know if you try it and how you like it!! THANK YOU!!!!

How to curl your eyelashes

Hi ladies,

I've been curling my eyelashes for as long as I can remember. I don't have long eyelashes to begin with, so my only help is to curl them and to put lots, and I mean lots, of mascara on them :-)

Before curling my eyelashes with my eyeslash curler, I like to moisten them first. Believe it or not, I put vaseline on them. I use the vaseline in two different manners.

Before I shower, I put a little bit of vaseline on the tip of my finger and rub it onto my eyelashes. I do not wipe it off, I simply go in the shower and wash my face as usual. When I get out of the shower, I make sure to dry my eyes when I dry my face so that my eyelids are not greasy from the vaseline. However, my eyelashes still stay nice and moist. This is when I curl my eyelashes ladies, and they will stay curled all day. Then, I apply my mascara for length and volume,

Sometimes, I forget to apply the vaseline before I shower, so the other manner in which I use it is to put some vaseline on the tip of my finger and rub it onto my eyelash curler directly. I only put a little bit, since I don't want my eyes to be greasy.

Another great use for vaseline is as an eye make up remover! :-)  But that's a topic for a whole different blog!  And more great thing about vaseline, it is inexpensive, but very effective

I hope you found this information helpful! <3

How to prevent pimples from wearing Make Up

Hi ladies,

In the past month, I've discovered a method that has helped me prevent getting pimples from wearing make-up. The more I learn about make-up and how to apply it, the more I've been wearing it. As a result, it's caused me to breakout with pimples more frequently, since my pore get clogged by the foundation, primer, setting powder, etc. It's very important to wash your face every night after wearing make-up, and I've discovered two great products that have helped me prevent pimples.

The first product I found at the supermarket (Hannaford) in the Organic Section. It's an exfoliator with sea algae extract. I  love this product because it gets rid of all the impurities on my face and it also leaves my face super smooth. I've been using it every night to wash my make up off. I basically use it as a make up remover.

After I'm done using exfoliating my face, I wait a couple of minutes and I use my second favorite product called "Acne Stress Control" from Neutrogena. Again, since I'm dealing with pimples, I try to use a product with Salicylic Acid which is used to treat acne.  I moisten a cotton ball with this astringent and rub it all over my face until I don't see my cotton ball has dirt on it anymore. Again, this product leaves my face very smooth as well, and it has a pleasant smell to it, unlike other astringent products.  If you have sensitive skin, I don't know if this will work for you since after applying the astringent, your face may burn a little bit.  I recommend using the astringent only if you have pimples.  If not, the exfoliator itself should be sufficient.

I hope you ladies found this information interesting and helpful <3

Too Faced Eye Shadow Primer Due

Hi ladies! I recently purchased the “Two Faced Ready Set Primer Duo” and I absolutely love it! The duo set comes with two eye shadow primers, one is called “insurance” and the other one is called “candlelight”. The insurance primer you can use for your every day look. It helps intensify your eye shadow and also “insures” that your eye shadow lasts for hours. I absolutely loved the candlelight primer! It’s basically primer with shimmer in it to help create a more dramatic look. I tried it on one of my clients and the eye shadow looked beautiful! This eye shadow had a lot of pigment, but the primer helped it stand out more and gave it a beautiful shimmer. I highly recommend this product! You can find it at Sephora.com
