Packing for Vacation: Pre - Planned Outfits

Hi ladies,

So my first summer vacation is almost here! My husband and I are going to Punta Cana, Domincan Republic. Last year when we went on our first cruise to the Bahamas, I brought 3 suitcases just for me! I brought all my shoes, clothes, accessories, and beauty products. Unfortunately, for this vacation I have to be reasonable, since we are flying out and I can only bring one suitcase.

I decided to pre-plan some of the outfits I could wear, so I won't over pack. I'm bringing 3 pairs of shoes that can go with my 5 outfits, and specific accessories (necklaces and earrings) to match my outfits as well.

I am bringing some extra clothing just in case, such as summer dresses, shorts, jeans, etc.

I think pre-planning your outfits before going on vacation is a great idea. It helps you bring exactly what you need and helps you avoid over-packing!

Crochet Trend continues: Crochet Maxi Dress

Hellos ladies,

I just wanted to write a quick post about a " blue crochet maxi dress" I purchased from New York & Company about a month ago.

About 3 weeks ago, I wore my crochet maxi dress to go visit my sister, who lives in New Jersey. We went out to eat sushi and then we decided to go to Garden State Plaza.

As I was walking around the mall, I had quite a few people complementing me on my "crochet maxi dress". So I decided to share where I got this dress. In the pictures, you will see exactly how I wore it. I just paired it up with my small Michael Kors Hamilton bag and a pair of Tory Burch wedges.

Crochet Trend

Hello Ladies,

So recently I have been seeing crochet dresses, skirts, and shorts on almost every single fashion page on Instagram that I follow.  This made me so excited to go shopping and get some crochet clothing. During my "shopping spree", I first spotted a pair of gorgeous white crochet shorts from H&M, so I decided to try them on right away. Unfortunately, they did not fit the away I wanted them to fit on me, so I decided not to get them.

As I left H&M I was very upset I could not get those shorts, so I made a stop at Forever 21 to see if I could find something similar that I liked. While in Forever 21, I spotted this beautiful crochet mini skirt. Of course, I decided to try it on. I was so happy with the results. I loved how it fit and how it looked on me, so I had to purchase it.

Since I loved this skirt so much, I kept thinking "I have to write a blog post on this." So when I got home, I browsed through my closet to try to find a top and accessories to create an outfit. I ended up finding a blouse from H&M which I thought would go perfect with this skirt. I decided to pair the top and skirt with Michael Kors heels and a Michael Kors white wristlet.

The sunglasses are optional. The pair I am wearing for the pictures are colored yellow and from Forever 21/-  However, if you want to get higher quality ones, you can find something similar from the Rayban collection.

The Jumpsuit Trend Continues: Black Jumpsuit

Hello Ladies,

So my new post is all about the "jumpsuit trend". I know I have already posted an entry on the "jumpsuit trend", but I cannot get enough of it. I am absolutely in love with jumpsuits and rompers. I feel jumpsuits look great for a day or evening event, since they have both a casual and professional look.  Plus, they are extremely comfortable. Also, once you put it on you are already dressed. It is not like other outfits where you have to find a top to match your bottom or vice versa. When wearing a jumpsuit, your outfit is for the most part complete, all you need to worry about is your accessories.

For this jumpsuit outfit, I wanted to match my black jumpsuit with yellow gold accessories. I paired it up with a gold necklace, gold bracelet and earrings, gold watch and gold clutch.
